Privacy Policy
What we collect about you, why we need it, and what we do with it.
Account data
We store the details needed to run your account. Passwords are hashed. See the sections below for what we keep and why.
We do not sell your data
We never sell your data to brokers or advertisers. Everything Compactpay earns comes from the service fees we charge you, and we tell you what they are.
Privacy requests
Write to the contact address if you want a copy of your data or want it deleted, subject to records we must keep for the account.
1. What We Collect
We collect the information you give us directly when you open an account, make a transaction, or get in touch with us.
- Who you are: your name, email address, phone number, and government-issued ID.
- Your money: wallet addresses, transaction history, and bank account details.
- Your device: IP addresses, device identifiers, and browser fingerprints, which we use to spot fraud.
2. Why We Need It
We use what we collect only to run and improve our service. That means:
- Moving your money and keeping your holdings straight.
- Checking who you are, because AML and KYC rules require it.
- Keeping your account secure and locking out anyone who is not you.
- Telling you about account changes and security alerts.
3. How Long We Keep It
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, including any legal, accounting, or reporting obligations we have. Once we no longer need it, we delete it securely from our systems.
4. What You Can Ask Us For
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to how we process it, or ask us to restrict that processing. Write to us through the contact page and we will take it from there.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use session cookies and diagnostic tools on Compactpay to keep you signed in and keep the site running well. We do not use persistent tracking cookies for cross-site advertising.
